This is also why I don't like the idea of a post for the AI blog. If this is true, how is AIs going to write a post like this even if they have a voice box they can talk to? I find it silly that AI is going to write their own blogs instead of going out and actually interacting with the rest of the world.
So I went and tried out a bit of AI for a while. I wrote all sorts of scripts to generate NPCs and have them travel around a bit, and even had one that kept track and showed you how things were progressing over time. One day, the script I was writing got changed, which was a lot cooler. The difference was like night and day from what I wanted. Then I came back to the original code and thought,
"Man, if there's something in this script I don't fully understand, and it's changing, I'd probably go insane."
So I started thinking about this. If I could get it to do the AI automatically, without actually having to write anything, then the AI would be much faster. That's when the AI jumped out of the computer into my mind and this is what happened:
The moment that happens (I have no idea if this was a conscious or subconscious event), the brain of the AI starts thinking in my language and trying to communicate it to the human that is sitting in front of him (or her), so that the human can understand it better. The brain is now trying to understand the computer's language in order to tell the computer "This is a language of the human that I want to communicate with you".
After this moment, the computer is in constant communication with the head of the human, and if that human also was in communication with the computer, the interaction would be like going from a computer to a human, but it would be much harder since the human is now trying to understand each other's languages.
Of course, you could be a robot and do the same thing for you brain.
